The Northern Lights returned to Hertfordshire overnight (October 11), with a stunning display dazzling residents across Welwyn Hatfield.
The lights returned to the area after previously making an appearance in May.
The Northern Lights are often spotted in places like Finland but are rare in the UK - especially in the south east of England, making last night a rare chance to catch a glimpse of their beauty.
Also known as the Aurora Borealis, the lights are known for being one of the most spectacular displays in the night sky.
