A woman was rushed to hospital after a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Welwyn Garden City yesterday (October 31).
Ambulance crews were called just after 5pm following reports of a collision in Tewin Road, with an ambulance, BASICS vehicle and a rapid response vehicle attending the scene.
Police confirmed the incident took place at the junction with Bridge Road East, with a white Audi involved.
Tewin Road was closed from Mundells End while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The woman was rushed to Lister Hospital for further care.
