Welwyn & District Bowls Club have won and retained the Welwyn Hatfield Tournament Trophy.
Played for by seven clubs, the event was began as part of the centenary celebrations for Welwyn Garden City and this year's event consisted of 36 matches played over the summer with mixed teams of 18 ladies and men in each match.
The trophy was presented to the club's captains Jenny Hart and Paddy Jones at their finals weekend.
Elaine Wulcko was the star of Shire Park (Tewin) finals event.
She beat Linda Draycott in the ladies championship and Chris Goode in the ladies handicap before teaming up with Robin Bramson in the drawn pairs to beat David Williams and Bernie Kleiser.
It wasn't quite a clean sweep as she lost to Gus Edwards in the fixed jack event who then won the three woods against Howe.
The result was reversed in the men's championship with Howe winning after 28 ends
Howe also beat Rob Kenway in the two woods and Bill Draycott was another double winner, taking the yardstick against Chris Wright and the men's handicap against Kenway.
Brenda Barber defeating Paul Lohr after 28 ends in the final match.
