Potters Bar Town's horrible season continued with a 3-0 loss away to Enfield Town in the FA Cup.
The Scholars have been beaten in all five Isthmian League Premier Division games played so far this season but did themselves no favours at Donkey Lane, conceding two in the opening 15 minutes with the third coming midway through the second period.
And manager Max Mitchell admits they all need a long hard look at themselves.
"I'm frustrated," he said. "We didn't get to the levels that we were at in the last few games, that's in terms of the performance, the energy and the work rate.
"We came a cropper in the first 20 minutes. We didn't do the basics well enough, we didn't put them under any pressure and allowed them to grow in confidence.
"We gave ourself a mountain to climb and while the second half was better, essentially we're giving teams too many leads.
"We have to look at it and reset.
"We missed a few players and we had to put some square pegs in round holes but we need to see a lot more.
"We just have to work on it. We go back to the training ground and work on it.
"The good thing with football is another game comes around quickly enough to put things right and we have to do that as a collective.
"We'll do that."
