A long-standing Potters Bar player has been given a call-up by India
Jigar Mehta is part of a 16-man squad off to the Over 40s IMC World Cup, being held in Cape Town, South Africa
Metha, who turned 40 in December, will be up against New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Wales, Sri Lanka and the hosts South Africa from February 19.
India have also chosen former test player Wasim Jaffer in their side.
The other group has Herts Cricket League involvement too with Harpenden's Ben Frazer part of the England squad alongside Derbyshire and Glamorgan stalwart Graham Wagg.
They face matches against Zimbabwe, USA, Namibia, Australia and Canada.
A spokesman for Potters Bar said: "Good luck Jig in the light blue of India and we await to hear of your tales with a full glass and baited breath."
When he returns clubs will be preparing for the start of another Saracens HCL season, and the release of the fixtures has only whetted the appetite for that.
Potters Bar, who won back-to-back titles last season, begin their new defence with a home game against newly-promoted Shenley Village on May 11 before travelling across to town neighbours Old Owens one week later.
The return derby at The Walk is on July 20 with the curtain coming down on Bar's season at Harpenden.
Owens begin their year away to Harpenden and end it on the road again, this time at Hertford.
North Mymms have home games against West Herts and Totteridge Millhillians bookending the season.
Their derby fixtures at home take place on June 15 against Potters Bar and August 24 versus Old Owens.
The corresponding away games are on August 17 and June 22.
Welwyn Garden City began their first season in the Championship away to Flitwick while they end the season away to Preston on September 7.
The first of the garden city derbies is away to Letchworth on June 15, Digswell Park playing host on August 17, while they go to St Albans on June 29 before hosting them on August 31.
Knebworth Park open at home to Holtwhites Trinibis in Division Two B while the first weekend of the Division Three A season has Tewin at home to Potton Town and Datchworth away to Allenburys & County Hall.
The derby games are at Datchworth on May 18 and in Tewin on July 20.
Hatfield & Crusaders are away to Hitchin II on day one in Division Four A while Hatfield Hyde have a trip to Broxbourne II in Division Four B.
Bentley Heath make the short trip to Old Owens II in Division Five A.
