Choosing to bat first on winning the toss, they made 209-9 in their 50 overs.

Jacob Logan (58) and Fayaz Homyoon (37) put on 88 for the first wicket, and a couple of good partnerships late on thanks to Connor Emerton (36) and Al Mahmud Hassan (20) pushed the score above 200.

The bowlers were the real stars as they rattled through Hemel, leaving them all out for 112 in the 32nd over.

Radhakrishna Marripati took 4-25 in his 10 overs while Dan Roomans managed 3-30 in his allotted spell.

Knebworth Park meanwhile remain top of Division Two B, even though they lost for the first time this season.

They had a heavy, 181-run loss at Potters Bar seconds but stay two points above Flitwick.

The day had started very differently though as they had the home side in all sorts of bother at 36-6.

Kobie Richmond had another five wickets, taking 5-33, while Charlie Randall got one more to his tally.

Thereafter though, the home batsmen got to grips with the surface and went on to finish on 240-8.

The same could not be said of the Knebworth batsmen who crumbled to 16-5 before flopping to just 59.

Only a brave and attacking 31 from Richmond stemmed the flow of wickets long enough.

It was a similar story for Ickleford as they lost for the first time this year in Division Three A, the difference being they relinquished their hold on the top spot.

They went down by 80 runs at Tewin who climb above them to second, Ickleford slipping to fifth.

Tewin had crawled to 65-2 at half-way before kicking on the second half of the innings to reach 180-7.

Ash Patel led the way with 63 while there was 35 from Vaughn Smith and 27 for Alex Portas.

Patel then returned to devastating effect with the ball in hand, claiming 5-13 from his nine overs.

Josh Crutchett also managed 2-13 in seven overs as only a late surge dragged Ickleford up to 100 all out.

Datchworth are up to fourth after a 44-run success at home to Totteridge Millhillians.

They made 163-9 batting first, Dean Jones with 37 not out and Tom Bennett's 31 the best individual scores.

And in reply, Datchworth's bowlers were all on form as Totteridge finished on 119 in the 38th over.

Sam Bridgman got 3-20 and Ben Wiles 3-30 while there were two wickets for Bennett and Nick Winchester.

Hatfield & Crusaders fell to a third defeat in four Division Four A games, beaten by 43 runs at home to Sandridge.

Ian Golder, Juvin James and Rory Gethin-Golder each took two wickets while the latter top scored with 38 in reply.

Hatfield Hyde defeated Preston away from home in Division Four B by two wickets.

The had the hosts under control for the most part, eventually bowling them out for 177 in the final over.

Saran Jaward, Nathan Davies and Mohamed Murjeen each got two wickets with the best figures belonging to Mohamed Izmee with 2-20.

Scott Davies was the glue in the middle part of Hyde's reply, scoring a well-made 53, but they were still in trouble when he departed at 102-7.

But it took a powerful and unbeaten 65 from number nine Nadeem Ashraf, crafted in just 42 balls, to drag the victory into their grasp.

Bentley Heath cruised to a 125-run win at home to Clifton in Division Five A.

Sannan Mohammad led their batting with 71, Heath getting to 217 all out, before the bowlers ripped through the Clifton attack, leaving them finished on 92.

Hassan Zeb starred there with 4-40 although Ahsan Ahmed took 2-5 too.
