Welwyn Garden City's Jodie Williams and Team GB will have a shot at the medals after qualifying for a relay final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The 30-year-old was on leg three of the 4x400m relay at the Stade de France and clocked 51.38 seconds for her one lap of the track.

That, together with the efforts of Yemi John, Hannah Kelly and Lina Nielsen, brought GB home just in front of the French and safely in the top three qualifiers, USA taking the heat win.

Jamaica, Netherlands and Ireland qualified from the other semi with Belgium and Canada claiming the final two qualifying spots.

The final is tomorrow (Saturday) at 8.14pm.
