While fans of California’s most famous surf rock band won’t be able to see the legendary Brian Wilson performing seminal album Pet Sounds live, the Arena audience will be treated to all of the group’s sun-soaked gems courtesy of The Bootleg Beach Boys on Friday, February 17.

Expect to hear classics such as Wouldn’t It Be Nice, God Only Knows and Sloop John B.

Fresh from a sold-out theatre tour of Ireland, an acclaimed appearance on RTE’s The Late Late Show, and just before they set off on a six-week tour of Australia, The Bootleg Beach Boys are coming to St Albans to perform a selection of classic hits and cult favourites.

From surf-themed anthems such as Surfin’ Safari and Surfer Girl to songs like Shut Down and Fun Fun Fun, the band’s members have gathered an impressive repertoire of West Coast, harmony-laden songs.

With impeccable harmonies, the band tackles such classics as In My Room, Good Vibrations and Help Me Rhonda in their hit heavy set.

They also pay homage to the genius of Brian Wilson in the form of selections from Pet Sounds and cult favourites from the Smile album.
